Job Description:
Candidate shall have 5 to 10 years experience in offshore structural design, covering following activities as minimum;
- Candidate shall perform Structural Analyses including in-place, seismic, In place Push-over , Seismic push-over and spectral fatigue Analyses.
- Work experience in Offshore structural design and engineering with strong technical background and good practical aptitude.
- Candidate shall perform modification/ up gradation design for existing offshore platform structure.
- Experience in structural analysis packages (SACS, SESAM, STAAD.PRO etc.,) and in-depth knowledge International codes such as API RP 2A, AISC etc.,
- Conversant with In-service analyses (such as In-place analysis, Spectral fatigue analysis, Pushover analysis, Boat Impact analysis) & Pre-service analyses (such as load-out analysis, lift analysis, transportation analysis).
- Design of pipe supports, Equipment supports, Miscellaneous structures & Barge strengthening checks.
- Design of Offshore Structures & Foundations Using SACS, ASAS and SESAM Soft Wares.
- Familiarity of AISC, API, ABS, DNV, BS & DIN in Structural Design and Preparation of Technical Specifications.
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- Skilled in SACS or SESAM equivalent finite element analysis software.
- Working knowledge of Auto Cad or other drafting software.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams to provide technical input.
