Vendor Manager

Glovender, a rapidly growing supply chain acceleration startup based in Nashville, is seeking a diligent and responsible Vendor Manager to join our supply chain team. This role will focus on monitoring, managing, and supervising vendors located in Sialkot and Lahore, Pakistan. Our company supports leading brands and emerging creators by helping them avoid supply chain delays, accelerate product launches, and maximize profits through our proprietary G360 Command Center™ platform and global supply chain agents.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with company-approved vendors.
- Meet with potential vendors to evaluate their products, inquire about services, negotiate pricing, and address any product or service-related issues.
- Conduct thorough research to identify vendors offering the best pricing and product quality.
- Implement industry best practices to source and onboard suitable vendors.
- Interview new vendors and clearly communicate their responsibilities and obligations once approved.
- Establish performance standards to assess and monitor approved vendors.
- Ensure all vendors comply with international standards and regulations.
- Provide timely reports on vendor metrics to the supply chain manager.
- Resolve vendor disputes promptly to maintain smooth operations.
- Conduct regular, unannounced inspections of vendor sites to ensure client orders are processed efficiently and on schedule.
- Continuously evaluate current vendor management programs and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Vendor Manager or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel to various locations independently with personal transportation.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in both Urdu and English.
