The Ops Lab, a founder-led venture-building and startup advisory studio, is seeking a Venture Operations & Growth Lead to join their remote team based in Pakistan. This full-time role operates from 1 pm to 10 pm UK time with a one-hour break. The Ops Lab supports entrepreneurs in transforming early ideas into viable businesses by guiding them through problem validation, business model development, MVP launches, and scaling systems. As the company enters its next growth phase, this role is pivotal in driving both The Ops Lab’s expansion and the successful launch of ventures and products for clients and internal projects.
Key Responsibilities
Growth of The Ops Lab:
You will identify key customer segments, develop campaigns that generate qualified leads, and manage growth across content, partnerships, referrals, outbound efforts, and select paid channels. Strengthening positioning, messaging, and conversion journeys will be essential. You will design and run measurable growth experiments, track performance metrics, and build a consistent sales pipeline. Additionally, you will support business development activities and cultivate relationships with founders, partners, and communities.
Venture and Product Launches:
Your role involves researching markets, customers, and competitors to pressure-test startup ideas before significant investment. You will help define problems, value propositions, business models, and routes to market. Coordinating MVP launches, landing pages, prototypes, and early releases will be key, along with gathering customer feedback to inform product and commercial decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and develop repeatable processes to accelerate venture development.
Founder and Client Operations:
You will lead onboarding, set clear expectations, and translate meetings into actionable plans with owners and deadlines. Managing momentum between sessions, coordinating diverse teams, identifying risks, and challenging assumptions will be critical. Your role includes ensuring clients receive honest, structured support and maintaining organized records, project plans, and communications.
Internal Operations and Execution:
You will translate company priorities into weekly plans and measurable outcomes, build dashboards to monitor progress, and create or improve SOPs, templates, and quality-control processes. Introducing automations to reduce repetitive work, managing multiple projects with attention to detail, and removing operational bottlenecks are vital. Protecting the founder’s time by owning execution is a key expectation.

- Practical knowledge of customer acquisition, positioning, funnels, conversion, and retention.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with startup founders, professional services firms, digital products, or early-stage ventures is highly valued. While a degree is appreciated, demonstrated exceptional execution is more important.
