KEY Responsibilities

The following are the main responsibilities that the role holder will be accountable for:

1.      Verifications

  • To conduct a physical visit to the applicant business and residential addresses for verification of their credentials.
  • Scrutiny and verification of information regarding applicants as narrated in the loan application form.
  • Verification of pre disbursement of Murabha invoices.
  • Verification with MIS and cross verify with hard data.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain a good relationship between clients and staff for verification.
  • To handle and maintain confidential information.

2.Other

·            Responsible for maintaining own professional development.

·            To comply with the organization’s policies and procedures in undertaking the above roles and responsibilities.

·            To undertake any other reasonable duties those are consistent with the job and at its level of responsibility as and when required by line management.

·            Take part in any cross-organizational groups or learning sets which are appropriate to the job role

PERSON SPECIFICATION

It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as a commitment to its SEAH (sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards SEAH and doesn’t support any action that promotes or encourages SEAH.

Essential:

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies/ Management /Commerce or related field

·         Strong organization skills and attention to detail to ensure high quality in one’s work.

·         Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution.

·         Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, with the command of written and spoken English in particular.

·         Excellent levels of computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications and MF software.

·         Ability to work with a range of senior managers, peers and junior colleagues and build smooth working relationships.

·         Ability to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously.

Experience

  • Minimum one year of work experience in the relevant field preferably in MFIs.
  • Good working knowledge of governmental and financial regulations and laws.
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered.

·         Has a positive demeanour and disposition, and able to overcome setbacks by motivating self and others

·         Have a learning attitude and a continuous improvement philosophy.

·         Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and communicate effectively both written & oral.

·         Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines

 Desirable:

·         Relevant experience of working with humanitarian/development sector/INGOs

·         Working knowledge of regional languages of Pakistan.
