Verification Of Benefit (VOB) Specialist - Medical Billing

Meds Nexus Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Verification of Benefit (VOB) specialist to join their U.S. medical billing operations team. This on-site role is based in Rawalpindi and requires working the night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between insurance providers and medical practices, ensuring accurate and timely verification of patient insurance coverage before services are rendered.

Key Responsibilities
- Contact U.S. insurance payers to verify active insurance policies, pre-authorizations, and detailed patient benefit information.
- Manage daily verification queues to ensure efficient turnaround times and maintain workflow momentum.
- Document thorough verification notes and proactively address any discrepancies encountered.
- Update internal client Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software and databases with precise payer responses and status updates.
- Adhere strictly to data confidentiality protocols and comply with all relevant security and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in Verification of Benefit, patient access, or medical billing services.
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare insurance systems, including eligibility criteria and authorization processes.
- Excellent analytical skills for maintaining records, generating reports, and resolving verification issues.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills tailored to interactions with U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Graduate degree in any discipline with a demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt.
