Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform the Overall supervision of the company’s day to day functioning of the Accounts and Finance functions including MIS, Audit, Taxation, Corporate Affairs, etc in compliance with the Company Policy, Local laws & regulations, national and the International Financial Standards
  • Develop and maintain Internal Finance & Accounting Policy & Procedures and robust Program for ensuring efficient and effective management and control of the Company Finance & Accounting portfolio by following national and international standards
  • Report findings and recommendations to CEO
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the finance Department and lead/manage report-line subordinate employees/accountants
  • Coordinate and interface with internal and external auditors as and when contracted, for efficient management of the Statutory, Tax & Internal Audits as a part of Corporate Governance
  • Supervise, train, motivate, evaluate and discipline Finance Unit Teams in order to implement standards
  • Financial techniques for accuracy and reliable reporting
  • Review purchase requisitions for accuracy; compare expenditures with budget appropriations, as per the approved allocations; record and report irregularities/exceptions
  • Manage Corporate Finance including cost accounting and pricing
  • Manage the financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
  • Supervise purchases and payments to suppliers including payments for imports on open TT item-wise Costing of Imports
  • Prepare budget of company revenue, working capital, expenditure and return on investments
  • Monitor Budgets and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory matters, including Income-tax, Sales-tax and related functions; avoid regulatory penalties; provide technical and managerial information to the organization and regulatory agencies regarding tax matters
  • Monitor valuation of imports including payment of duties and taxes and landed cost of goods imported
  • Manage tax record (Income tax and Sales tax), filing of returns and follow up oversee
  • Filing of returns and attend tax authorities for assessments and appeals
  • Monitor customers, orders, sales invoices, packing lists and goods dispatches
  • Oversee the process, monitoring and approval of all Payables and Receivables
  • Develop and maintain internal control to ensure the safeguarding of company assets; provide information to the top management on need basis

Qualification: MBA (full Qualification in charted accountancy or preferred)
