Progressive Climate Foundation (PCF) is a community-driven organization committed to advancing climate change education, environmental awareness, and sustainable development across Pakistan. With a focus on safe water, wildlife protection, tree plantation, and solid waste management, PCF empowers local communities, especially youth, to take practical actions that mitigate the effects of climate change. The Vice President for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter is a volunteer leadership position based on-site in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This role involves overseeing regional programs aligned with PCF’s mission, including initiatives related to climate education, safe water, wildlife conservation, tree plantation, and waste management. The Vice President will coordinate with local communities and youth groups, manage chapter activities and events, and support fundraising and resource mobilization efforts as needed. Working closely with the national leadership team, the role requires strategic planning, monitoring project progress, and reporting on outcomes. Additionally, the Vice President will represent PCF at regional forums, build partnerships with stakeholders, and promote an inclusive and collaborative environment within the chapter.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter’s programs and initiatives in line with PCF’s objectives.
- Coordinate with local communities, youth groups, and other stakeholders to encourage active participation in climate-related projects.
- Organize and oversee chapter events, activities, and campaigns to raise awareness and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with PCF’s national leadership to develop strategic plans and monitor project implementation and impact.
- Support fundraising efforts and resource mobilization to sustain chapter activities.
- Represent PCF in regional forums and build strong partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within the chapter to maximize volunteer engagement and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills to lead diverse groups and encourage collaboration.
- Effective communication abilities to engage communities, youth, and stakeholders in climate initiatives.
- Analytical skills to assess community needs, evaluate project outcomes, and contribute to strategic decisions.
- Basic financial literacy to assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and transparent reporting.
- Demonstrated commitment to environmental protection, climate action, or community development.
- Experience in volunteer management, nonprofit work, or grassroots organizing is highly valued.
- Familiarity with the local context and languages of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is advantageous.
- Ability to be regularly present on-site and work collaboratively with PCF’s national leadership team.
