The Vice Principal will play a vital role within the academic leadership team, assisting the Principal in managing daily school operations and upholding high standards of teaching and learning. This on-site position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Vice Principal will oversee curriculum implementation, monitor classroom practices, and coordinate assessment and examination processes. Additionally, the role involves guiding and mentoring faculty members, leading professional development initiatives, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students. Collaboration with parents and guardians is essential to address academic and behavioral concerns, while promoting co-curricular and enrichment activities that align with the school’s holistic education philosophy. The Vice Principal will also contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and ongoing school improvement efforts to support RISC’s vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal in managing day-to-day school operations and academic leadership.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure alignment with educational standards.
- Monitor classroom teaching practices and promote effective instructional strategies.
- Coordinate assessment and examination processes to maintain academic integrity.
- Mentor and guide faculty through coaching, feedback, and professional development programs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment conducive to holistic learner development.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to address academic and behavioral issues.
- Promote co-curricular and enrichment activities that reflect the school’s educational philosophy.
- Participate in strategic planning, policy formulation, and continuous school improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven academic leadership experience, including school administration, staff supervision, and instructional management.
- Expertise in curriculum planning, assessment design, and quality assurance at primary, secondary, or college levels.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop teachers through effective coaching and professional development.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in building and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and positive school culture.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field; additional leadership or management certifications are advantageous.
- Previous experience in roles such as vice principal, coordinator, or head of department within reputable educational institutions.
- Understanding of contemporary teaching methodologies, learner-centered approaches, and digital tools used in modern classrooms.
- Commitment to the values of academic excellence, moral integrity, social responsibility, and global citizenship as upheld by RISC.
