Video Editor & Animator — Project-Based

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor & Animator to join our team on a project-based, freelance arrangement. This remote role involves transforming raw footage, creative concepts, or briefs into polished and engaging video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality videos that meet diverse project needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos in alignment with project briefs and specific requirements.
- Create motion graphics, transitions, text animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Develop 2D animations and animated visual elements that complement the narrative.
- Produce promotional videos, social media clips, explainer videos, reels, and other digital media formats.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, subtitles, and other finishing touches to complete projects.
- Ensure consistent visual quality and style throughout each project.
- Deliver final products within agreed timelines and implement revisions as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong skills in video editing and post-production processes.
- Solid understanding of 2D animation and motion graphics principles.
- Ability to create clean, engaging, and professional animations.
- Excellent sense of timing, composition, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Capability to interpret creative briefs and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and time-management skills.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating both video editing and animation work is required.
