Islam Channel Urdu is looking for a skilled and efficient Video Editor to become a vital part of our expanding digital team. The role involves transforming scripts into fully produced, narrative-driven videos that align with our distinctive visual style across social media platforms. Our goal is to present complex news, politics, and current affairs in a clear, impartial, and accessible manner tailored for a digital-first audience.

Key Responsibilities
- Full Video Post-Production: Edit raw voiceover tracks, scripts, and production notes to create engaging, fast-paced explanatory videos that capture the audience’s attention.
- Asset Gathering: Source relevant B-roll, archival news footage, and high-quality images to visually support and enhance the storytelling.
- Pacing & Editorial Judgment: Utilize strong pacing and sequencing skills to optimize viewer retention on YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with research and writing teams to consistently produce polished current affairs videos within tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Technical Mastery: Demonstrated high proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects.
- Infographic Capabilities: A keen eye for design, geometry, and layout, with proven experience in converting statistical data into engaging and visually appealing graphics.
- Efficiency: Ability to work independently and quickly without compromising on precision or visual quality.
- Current Affairs Awareness: While deep specialization in politics or economics is not mandatory, a genuine interest in news and current events is important to inform editorial decisions.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new techniques and actively contribute ideas within a collaborative team environment.
