Video Editor - GEM Creatives

Our client, GEM Creatives, is looking for a talented Video Editor based in Lahore to join their creative team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional experience and a keen eye for detail, combined with a passion for storytelling through video. This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to work on diverse and exciting projects, contributing to compelling video content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos suitable for multiple platforms.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and team members to fully understand project goals and requirements.
- Organize and maintain video assets and archives efficiently.
- Ensure consistency in storytelling and adherence to branding guidelines throughout all projects.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance and refine final video products.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve output quality.

Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional environment.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
- A strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills and creativity.
- Excellent understanding of timing, pacing, and scene dynamics to create compelling narratives.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is demonstrated.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D animation, and compositing techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of color grading and audio editing will be considered advantageous.
