Video Editor - GEM Creatives

Our client, GEM Creatives, is looking for a talented Video Editor based in Lahore to join their creative team. This full-time, in-person position requires a candidate with 1-2 years of professional experience who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos suitable for various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and team members to fully understand project goals and requirements.
- Organize and maintain video assets and archives efficiently.
- Ensure storytelling and branding consistency throughout all video content.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance final edits.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve output quality.

Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your video editing capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of timing, pacing, and scene dynamics to create compelling narratives.
- Creative storytelling skills combined with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is demonstrated.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
