Key Responsibilities
The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into captivating travel videos tailored for digital platforms. This includes cutting, sequencing, and adding transitions to craft engaging narratives. The role requires close collaboration with content and marketing teams to ensure videos align with brand identity. Responsibilities also include applying color grading to maintain visual consistency, integrating motion graphics and titles, and optimizing video content for various channels. Additionally, the editor will manage file organization and backups, while contributing creative ideas to enhance the overall visual identity of Traveling Partner Official.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in video production and editing, with experience creating content specifically for digital and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in video color grading techniques to enhance the look and feel of travel footage while maintaining brand consistency.
- Ability to design and incorporate motion graphics and visual elements that support storytelling, branding, and audience engagement.
- Experience using industry-standard editing and design software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or equivalents.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, sound design, and visual aesthetics relevant to travel and lifestyle content.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to accept feedback and engage in iterative improvements.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
