We are seeking a highly skilled video editor who can transform raw footage—ranging from podcasts and client calls to speaking engagements and founder interviews—into engaging, platform-native content that drives measurable results. This role goes beyond creating visually appealing edits; it demands producing content that performs across multiple social media channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X. You will be responsible for delivering full-length episodes as well as multiple short-form clips tailored to each platform, using audience feedback to optimize which versions receive paid promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit every long-form recording into at least ten distinct versions, varying hooks, lengths, and captions to maximize engagement.
- Publish content natively across all relevant platforms without reliance on others for uploading.
- Test different clip variations, analyze performance metrics, and recommend which edits should be prioritized for paid media campaigns.
- Collaborate daily with the social media lead who captures the original footage.
- Maintain the founder’s authentic voice—direct, calm, and free of hype—in all edits.
- Provide weekly reports on key performance indicators such as views, follower growth, and qualified calls booked, broken down by clip.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience editing for high-ticket coaches or consultants with audiences in the hundreds of thousands.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of footage types, including studio, remote, stage, and phone-shot recordings.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Descript, CapCut, and Photoshop, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Experience producing content for US-market B2B or high-ticket clients.
- Familiarity with paid ad creative, video sales letters, course or workshop lessons, and long-form podcasts or speaking engagements.
- Strong command of native platform analytics, able to interpret data like a media buyer to optimize content performance.
- Fluent written and spoken English with availability overlapping US Eastern Time hours, including participation in a daily 9:30 AM ET team huddle.
- A well-documented editing workflow incorporating AI tools, which you can clearly explain.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience delivering high-volume content across at least four of the following formats: short-form native cuts (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn, X), long-form podcasts and YouTube, paid ad creative with real spend, video sales letters, and course or workshop lessons.
- Ability to provide concrete results for past clients, including specific performance numbers and outcomes.
- Competitive base salary aligned with your location and experience, plus performance bonuses tied to view milestones, follower growth, and qualified calls generated from your edits.
- The opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company aiming to help 100,000 founders grow their businesses to $100 million in annual revenue with a lean team by 2035.
Candidates who have never worked with high-ticket coaches or consultants, have limited editing experience across different footage types, cannot provide measurable results, or require detailed briefs for every cut should not apply. This role demands self-sufficiency, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset. If a top-tier content team like Alex Hormozi’s would hire you, we encourage you to apply.
To apply, please submit:
- Two short-form edits you have produced, including performance metrics and outcomes.
- One long-form edit with its retention curve data.
- One clip edited in multiple ways, highlighting which version performed best.
- Three professional references: one supervisor, one peer, and one client.
This position offers a unique chance to amplify a founder’s voice and impact thousands of entrepreneurs through your expert editing and strategic content delivery.
