Edit Craft Studio, a dynamic and growing creative startup based in North Nazimabad, Karachi, is seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our team full-time on-site. With three years of experience in video production and content creation, we specialize in delivering engaging digital content. We are looking for someone who is skilled in both long-form and short-form video editing and passionate about crafting high-quality videos that captivate audiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form podcasts for YouTube, ensuring professional storytelling, pacing, and smooth transitions.
- Create short-form content tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts that maximizes audience retention.
- Produce podcast highlights and viral clips that engage viewers and enhance brand visibility.
- Develop AI-generated reels and other creative video content using tools such as Higgsfield.
- Apply captions, hooks, and other visual elements that enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Work closely with the creative team to follow editing briefs and meet project deadlines consistently.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in editing both long-form and short-form video content, particularly podcasts and social media reels.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is essential.
- Strong understanding of audience engagement techniques, including hooks, pacing, and storytelling.
- Demonstrated creativity and keen attention to detail in video editing.
- Ability to work on-site in North Nazimabad, Karachi, full-time.
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools, especially Higgsfield, is mandatory.
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver projects within deadlines.

Employment Details:
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in North Nazimabad, Karachi.
- Candidates will undergo a paid trial period of 15 working days.

Selection Process:
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing their previous video editing work. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical editing test using provided raw footage and a specific brief. This test is designed to evaluate editing skills, creativity, storytelling ability, attention to detail, and adherence to instructions. Both portfolio submission and completion of the practical test are mandatory for consideration. Please note that the practical editing test is separate from the paid trial period.
