Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with proven experience in editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast content. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, with the ability to create engaging and polished video content. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos ensuring smooth transitions, engaging pacing, and effective storytelling.
- Edit podcast videos, including handling multi-camera footage, dialogue cuts, and synchronizing audio with video.
- Incorporate B-roll footage, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and other relevant visual elements as needed.
- Enhance video flow and maximize audience retention through expert editing techniques.
- Maintain consistent video quality by adhering to provided briefs and guidelines.
- Manage revisions and deliver final videos within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience editing long-form YouTube and podcast videos.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and how to engage viewers effectively.
- Ability to transform raw footage into polished, compelling content.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant video editing work is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10, Karachi.
- Working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to the office or be willing to relocate prior to starting work.
