Video Editor

Reelax Media, a dynamic video production company based in Karachi, is seeking a skilled Video Editor with expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Serving clients across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, we require a confident and fast editor capable of producing polished, client-ready videos from scripts, briefs, and raw footage. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Gulshan, Karachi, with fixed shifts from Monday to Friday. The role demands minimal supervision and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos from raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, managing projects from rough cut to final delivery.
- Create motion graphics, animated captions, kinetic text, transitions, and visual effects in After Effects.
- Produce both short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos, focusing on strong hooks, pacing, and viewer retention.
- Select and integrate B-roll, music, and sound effects that align with client briefs and brand tone.
- Perform professional color correction and audio cleanup to ensure high-quality output.
- Follow scripts, client briefs, and brand guidelines accurately.
- Apply revisions and quality control feedback promptly and thoroughly.
- Organize project files according to established naming and delivery standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on video editing experience.
- Expert-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro, beyond basic familiarity.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics and animated text.
- Proven experience editing short-form content such as Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Solid understanding of pacing, continuity, storytelling, and retention-focused editing techniques.
- Competent audio skills, including cleanup, level balancing, and music integration.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, to effectively comprehend client briefs and feedback.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback, work collaboratively within a team, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Gulshan, Karachi, with shifts from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Remote or hybrid work options are not available.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international clients or within an agency environment.
- Familiarity with review tools such as Frame.io.
- Experience in color grading.
- A diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of content styles and niches.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is PKR 100,000 to 120,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
