Video Editor & Product Demo Intern

Inspurate Business Services (IBS) is seeking a Video Editor & Product Demo Intern to join their team in Karachi on a part-time, on-site internship basis. This role involves creating clear and professional product demonstration videos, explainer content, and walkthroughs primarily for AI and software products. The intern will work closely with technology products to translate product features and workflows into polished videos suitable for websites, sales presentations, LinkedIn, and client communications. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for technology and visual storytelling, possess basic video editing skills, and are eager to learn new software tools. The internship requires working from the office Monday through Friday and is not a remote or hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities
- Create screen-recorded demonstrations of software and AI products.
- Produce short product demos, walkthroughs, and explainer videos.
- Understand products or features to determine the best way to demonstrate them.
- Convert written requirements, scripts, or rough briefs into logical video flows.
- Record clean and professional product walkthroughs.
- Edit screen recordings into polished final videos with titles, captions, callouts, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
- Incorporate voiceovers, including AI-generated voices when appropriate.
- Edit and clean audio tracks.
- Apply consistent branding across all video content.
- Create video versions tailored for websites, LinkedIn, presentations, sales materials, and client demos.
- Revise videos based on feedback.
- Manage batches of video projects and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Organize project files, templates, and reusable creative assets efficiently.

Required Qualifications
- Basic video editing experience with examples of personal work or projects.
- Familiarity with some video editing and screen-recording tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, or Loom.
- Experience or willingness to learn design tools like Canva and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to edit and clean audio, add captions and subtitles.
- Comfortable using AI voice and audio tools (e.g., ElevenLabs) and AI-assisted video or creative tools.
- Ability to use AI writing tools like ChatGPT or Claude for scripting and production assistance.
- Good English comprehension to understand written product requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in screen recordings and final edits.
- Ability to work independently after initial direction and manage multiple assignments systematically.
- Curiosity about AI, software, and technology and willingness to learn new production techniques.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Adobe After Effects is advantageous but not required.
- Formal agency or professional video production experience is not necessary; personal projects, university work, freelance projects, and portfolio pieces are welcomed.
- This internship offers hands-on exposure to AI products, software platforms, product marketing, and technology services.
- There is potential for growth beyond the internship as IBS’s AI and software product services expand.
- The position offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs25,000 to Rs30,000.

This role is based in Karachi and requires the intern to work on-site five days a week during agreed part-time hours. Candidates shortlisted for this position may be asked to complete a practical exercise to demonstrate their ability to understand a product, plan a video, capture relevant screens, and produce a polished product demonstration.
