Key Responsibilities
The Video Editor will be responsible for managing the entire post-production process for explainer videos, brand animations, and social media content. This includes cutting and assembling footage, synchronizing audio, and refining the overall visual storytelling. Daily tasks involve organizing raw assets, creating rough and final cuts, applying color grading to enhance visual quality, adding motion graphics and titles, and preparing files for various platforms and formats. The editor will work closely with creative strategists, designers, and writers to ensure all video deliverables align with brand guidelines and project objectives. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a consistent visual style, managing feedback and revisions efficiently, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and editing tools.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in video production and editing for both short- and long-form content.
- Strong skills in video color grading to enhance visual appeal and maintain brand consistency.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphic elements such as titles, transitions, and other visual effects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing and motion graphics software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs accurately, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of various aspect ratios, codecs, and file formats suitable for web, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
