Key Responsibilities
The Video Editor will be responsible for managing the entire post-production process for explainer videos, brand animations, and social media content. This includes cutting footage, synchronizing audio, and refining visual storytelling to ensure a polished final product. Daily tasks involve organizing raw assets, assembling rough and final cuts, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and titles, and preparing files optimized for various platforms and formats. The role requires close collaboration with creative strategists, designers, and writers to ensure all video deliverables align with brand guidelines and project goals. Additionally, the Video Editor will maintain a consistent visual style, efficiently manage feedback and revisions, and stay up to date with industry trends and editing tools.
Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production and editing for both short- and long-form content.
- Proficiency in video color grading to enhance visual quality and maintain brand consistency.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphic design for titles, transitions, and other visual elements.
- Expertise in industry-standard editing and motion graphics software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and formats suitable for web, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
