Video Editor

Unity Films is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a strong passion for NFL and American Football to join their team on a project basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw game footage into captivating sports content tailored for digital platforms. A deep understanding of the game, including the ability to recognize key moments such as touchdowns and tackles, is essential. This role requires working on-site and demands a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and technical editing skills to deliver high-quality highlight reels and social media videos.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit NFL and American Football footage to create engaging highlight videos.
- Identify and highlight important plays including touchdowns, tackles, and other exciting moments.
- Produce short-form videos, highlight reels, and content suitable for social media platforms.
- Incorporate captions, transitions, sound effects, and motion graphics as needed to enhance video quality.
- Maintain smooth pacing and compelling storytelling throughout all edited content.
- Adhere to project guidelines and consistently meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of NFL and American Football rules, teams, players, and gameplay dynamics.
- Ability to spot key plays and engaging moments within match footage.
- Understanding of sports storytelling techniques and social media video formats.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
- Previous video editing experience or a portfolio demonstrating relevant work is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Rawalpindi before starting work, as this position requires on-site presence.
