Video Editor YT (ONSITE) || Jauhar Block 15 - Karachi

We are seeking a talented Video Editor who brings content to life beyond basic clip cutting. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, understands the dynamics of YouTube content, and possesses a creative eye to transform raw footage into engaging videos that audiences want to watch. This role is onsite and focuses on producing both long-form and short-form YouTube content with strong storytelling, pacing, and retention.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube long-form and short-form videos, including talking-head formats with compelling storytelling and pacing.
- Create documentary-style content combining talking heads, visuals, B-roll, motion graphics, and engaging edits.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to deliver dynamic edits incorporating motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with the creative team by working with references, feedback, and direction to continuously enhance the quality of the final output.

Required Qualifications
- Professional-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience editing YouTube content, particularly talking-head and documentary-style videos.
- Solid understanding of pacing, hooks, audience retention, and storytelling techniques.
- A portfolio demonstrating actual editing skills, not just animation work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- A proactive attitude with a hunger to learn, improve, and take on bigger challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Compensation & Growth
- Monthly salary ranges from PKR 48,000 to 65,000, with additional USD-based commissions on projects.
- High performers can earn over PKR 100,000 through project commissions.
