Videographer and videoeditor

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer & Video Editor to join a personal influencer channel based in Karachi. This role involves producing high-quality storytelling and lifestyle content for various social media platforms, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both videography and video editing, with a strong eye for premium visuals, professional color grading, and audience engagement techniques. This position requires someone who can confidently handle indoor and outdoor shoots while contributing fresh ideas and creative input to elevate the channel’s content.

Key Responsibilities

- Shoot high-quality videos in both indoor and outdoor settings, ensuring professional standards are met.
- Edit videos tailored for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Perform advanced color correction and grading to maintain a consistent, premium visual aesthetic.
- Incorporate clean cuts, smooth transitions, captions, sound design, and precise audio syncing.
- Deliver polished content within deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate on creative development, including scriptwriting and planning engaging video concepts.
- Apply knowledge of viral hooks, storytelling techniques, current trends, and audience retention strategies to maximize content impact.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in videography and editing short-form social media videos.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
- Solid skills in color grading, cinematography, and narrative storytelling.
- Understanding of social media trends, viral content strategies, and audience engagement.
- Ability to write scripts and contribute original content ideas.
- Creative mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic photography skills are considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Work Schedule

- Experience with After Effects is a plus.
- The role is based in Karachi, requiring on-site presence for shooting on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Video editing can be performed flexibly from home or the office.
- The content focus is on personal influencer projects, emphasizing storytelling, lifestyle, and social media engagement.
