Videographer / DOP

Nitrate Media, a dynamic production studio based in Karachi, specializes in creating TV commercials, digital video content, corporate documentaries, and social media material for various brands. As the company expands its in-house team, it seeks a skilled Videographer / Director of Photography (DOP) to lead the filming of monthly content for its diverse client base. This role involves shooting interview reels, fashion and lifestyle videos, as well as corporate productions, working closely with a camera assistant and the in-house editing team to ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the shooting of interviews, fashion/lifestyle reels, and corporate videos at various locations including studios, offices, client sites, and industrial areas across Karachi.
- Manage lighting and framing for each setup in collaboration with the camera assistant to achieve the desired visual style.
- Coordinate with client teams on set to capture specific shots and meet project requirements.
- Film with the editing process in mind, ensuring sufficient coverage and B-roll footage for seamless post-production.
- Organize and back up all footage promptly after each shoot to maintain data integrity and workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in interview, fashion/lifestyle, or corporate videography.
- Ownership of a professional camera kit, preferably Sony A7III, A7SIII, FX3, or an equivalent model, including lenses. Possession of lighting and sound equipment is an advantage.
- Proficient skills in lighting and composition to create visually compelling content.
- Ability to work long shooting days, typically ranging from 8 to 12 hours.
- Basic video editing skills are considered a plus.
- Residency in Karachi with availability for on-location shoots as required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a DOP or Videographer.
