We are seeking a full-time, on-site Videographer/Photographer & Video Editor based in Lahore. This role involves planning and executing video and photo shoots for academic, promotional, and event-related content. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up equipment, capturing high-quality footage and images, and managing lighting and composition to ensure visually compelling results. Additionally, the role includes editing videos and images to create polished content suitable for digital platforms, presentations, and marketing campaigns, while maintaining consistency with the university’s brand and messaging. The position may also require assisting with live event coverage and supporting multimedia projects across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, frame, and execute video and photo shoots for academic, promotional, and event content.
- Operate and handle professional cameras, including DSLR and mirrorless models, ensuring optimal capture quality.
- Set up and adjust lighting for both indoor and outdoor shoots to achieve desired visual effects.
- Edit video footage using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Perform basic photo editing using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to enhance images.
- Ensure all produced content aligns with the university’s branding and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with academic and administrative teams to meet project deadlines and requirements.
- Support live event coverage and assist with multimedia projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong skills in video production, including shooting, planning, framing, and storytelling for academic and promotional content.
- Practical experience in camera operation and handling professional video equipment.
- Expertise in lighting techniques for various shooting environments.
- Proficiency in video editing software and basic photo editing tools.
- Keen visual composition skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
