Virtual Medical Assistant/ Medical Scribe

We are looking for a committed Virtual Medical Assistant to join our team at our on-site location in Gulberg, Jail Road, Lahore. This role supports physicians during virtual consultations by managing patient intake, maintaining electronic health records, and facilitating effective communication between patients and clinical teams. The position offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule with evening hours, making it an excellent opportunity for healthcare support professionals to contribute to a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake by collecting detailed medical history, symptoms, and insurance information.
- Accurately maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure data integrity.
- Provide real-time scribing support during virtual consultations to assist physicians with precise documentation.
- Handle patient inquiries, follow-ups, and communicate post-appointment instructions clearly.
- Process referrals, prescriptions, lab orders, and prior authorizations in a timely manner.
- Ensure thorough documentation and smooth coordination between patients and clinical teams.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare support role is essential.
- Proficiency with EHR platforms such as eClinicalWorks (eCW), Athenahealth, DrChrono, Kareo, or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
- Graduates holding Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees, particularly those with podiatry experience, are encouraged to apply.

The salary for this position is up to PKR 130,000 per month. Candidates should have at least one year of experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant or Medical Scribe. This is an in-person role based at our Lahore office, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
