Key Responsibilities

Verification and Customer Support:
- Understand the architecture of VLSI modules or IPs and develop verification environments following the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
- Create and code test benches and test cases for one or multiple modules.
- Write or review code as necessary to ensure functionality.
- Execute and debug test cases, performing functional coverage analysis.
- Document test cases, failures, and debugging procedures using platforms such as SharePoint or JIRA.
- Conduct regression testing on the entire IP functionality and complete all related documentation for client delivery.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems efficiently with minimal latency.
- Develop scripts to support IP functionality.
- Adhere to project plans and comply with industry standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly status reports to clients as required.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including a repository of all design changes and recommendations.
- Keep accurate timesheets aligned with client requirements.
- Provide detailed written knowledge transfer and project history documentation.

Deliverables and Performance Metrics:
- Timely completion of verification tasks.
- Quality of code measured by the number of defects identified and resolved.
- Responsiveness to customer needs and inquiries.
- Thorough project documentation, including scripts and test cases.
- Demonstrated self-development through skill assessments for career progression.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of experience in VLSI Physical Place and Route.
- Strong understanding of VLSI system development, including defining functionalities, architecture, layout, and implementation.
- Proficiency in verification methodologies, particularly UVM.
- Experience with test bench creation, test case development, and debugging.
- Ability to document processes and maintain project repositories effectively.
- Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, and scripting languages relevant to IP development.
