VOB Specialist

Meds Nexus Pvt. Ltd., one of Pakistan’s fastest-growing medical billing companies based in Rawalpindi, is seeking experienced Verification of Benefits (VOB) Specialists to join their team. As a VOB Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying patients’ insurance eligibility and benefits prior to their medical visits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in benefit verification to support client operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Contact U.S.-based insurance companies to verify patient coverage details accurately.
- Maintain and monitor the verification workflow for each patient to ensure timely processing.
- Document call notes precisely and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Update all actions and notes on the client’s revenue cycle management (RCM) platform following established protocols.
- Adhere strictly to client-specific documentation standards and guidelines.
- Comply with Meds Nexus’ data protection and information security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
- Demonstrate integrity and uphold the highest ethical standards in all professional activities.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Verification of Benefits Specialist within a medical billing service provider environment.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle, including Eligibility & Benefits Verification and Prior Authorization processes.
- Ability to understand and apply client-specific business rules and requirements effectively.
- Proficient in generating detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills with a clear, neutral accent suitable for interacting with U.S.-based clients and insurance companies.
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position based at Gold Mark Plaza 5, Floor Asghar Mall, Rawalpindi. The office hours are from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, aligning with the U.S. business hours to facilitate timely communication and verification processes.
