Meds Nexus Pvt. Ltd., a rapidly growing medical billing company in Pakistan, is looking for a dedicated VOB Specialist to join their team in Rawalpindi. This full-time, on-site role operates during night shifts from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations for U.S. healthcare partners. A strong passion for healthcare workflows, keen attention to detail, and excellent spoken English skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with U.S. insurance carriers to verify patient coverage details, including copays, deductibles, and benefits prior to medical appointments.
- Manage and track the entire verification process for each patient efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain precise documentation of call logs, notes, and any corrective actions taken, ensuring zero errors.
- Update patient insurance information and actions within client Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platforms.
- Adhere strictly to client-specific documentation standards, data protection policies, and company security protocols, demonstrating high ethical integrity.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience as a VOB Specialist within a medical billing or revenue cycle management environment.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle, particularly Eligibility & Benefits Verification and Prior Authorization procedures.
- Ability to understand and apply client-specific business rules, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with a clear and professional accent.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, complemented by a problem-solving mindset and a strong willingness to grow professionally.
