Vocal Sound Designer/Vocal Mix Engineer

ABS International is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Vocal Mix Engineer to join its Audio Production Team based in Karachi. This full-time, permanent, on-site role requires expertise in vocal recording, editing, tuning, processing, and mixing, particularly within Naat and Islamic audio projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality vocal mixes that meet professional industry standards while collaborating closely with the production team.

Key Responsibilities
- Record, edit, tune, process, and mix vocals to achieve clear, balanced, and production-ready results.
- Utilize EQ, compression, de-essing, saturation, automation, reverb, delay, and other corrective processing techniques to enhance vocal quality.
- Identify and eliminate unwanted noise, clicks, pops, distortion, and other audio imperfections.
- Maintain well-organized DAW sessions, project files, and audio assets to ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting production deadlines.
- Collaborate with the audio production team to achieve the desired sound and maintain high-quality output.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vocal Mix Engineer, Audio Engineer, Sound Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vocal recording, editing, tuning, processing, and mixing techniques.
- Proficiency in digital audio workstations such as FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, or equivalent software.
- Solid understanding of microphones, vocal recording techniques, signal flow, and professional audio workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail with a well-trained ear for vocal balance, tone, dynamics, and clarity.
- Experience working on Naat, Islamic, or other vocal-focused productions is highly desirable.

Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must submit a CV along with relevant audio portfolio samples. Applications without work samples will not be considered.

The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and skill level. The role is based on-site in Karachi at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 13-C location.
