We are looking for an energetic Android developer, who is willing to learn and grow. The ideal candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and creative instincts to develop and maintain Android applications. The candidate will be given a platform to work on market-leading, innovative and challenging mobile apps.
Must have published at least 5 applications on Play Store:
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Strong debugging skills and must be familiar with profiling app, memory usage analysis, bandwidth usage analysis.
- Good knowledge of Android native app development using Java/ Kotlin as the primary language.
- A strong understanding of the full life cycle of app development using Google's Developer Portal
- Experience with SQLite, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Must have knowledge of back-end RESTful services
- A strong understanding of the full life cycle of app development using Google's Developer Portal
- Hands-on experience of creating custom UI controls, designing protocols, implementing interfaces, and performance optimization
- Experience in designing fluid UI for multiple screen sizes and dimensions.
- Experience in cross-platform UI design is a plus.
- Experience with Google cloud functions.
Role Requirements
- Proficient in: Android (Java, XML, SQLite, Firebase, Web services (Volley, Retrofit, Network Tasks), UI/UX (XML, Material Design).
- 3 years plus experience of Android Apps development along with experience in front end design of app as well as knowledge of server-based development
- Web UI development experience is a plus
- Self-driven and do work on your own by taking ownership
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration especially Firebase, Google Analytics, Fabric.
