Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure quality control over the material to be used on projects. Ensure implementation of specifications on site regarding material requirements.
- Monitor testing of material (soil, aggregate, concrete asphalt) at lab and site, conformance to required standards.
- Suggest improvement/adjustments by blending of materials as per specifications of projects.
- Keep in coordination and liaison with the Construction Manager, Site Supervisor and Contractor for specified material.
- Verify and check the concrete mix design and job mix formula for asphaltic concrete.
- Ensure maintenance of lab equipment office records and keep it up to date.
- Check the Lab/ equipment of the contractor's Lab as and when required.
- Conduct all visits required at site and Lab on as and when required basis, and also conduct audit of Lab set up & submit budget plan to the Head of the department and management.
