WALK-IN -INTERVIEWS- (TRANSPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transport Operations Coordinator with strong knowledge of Islamabad and Rawalpindi roads, routes, sectors, and local areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and managing daily pick and drop operations, ensuring efficient vehicle and driver allocation, and maintaining smooth coordination between clients, drivers, and the operations team. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to handle urgent operational matters, and experience in route planning and fleet management. The position offers a competitive salary range of PKR 60,000 to 70,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Islamabad and Rawalpindi roads, routes, sectors, and local areas to effectively plan daily operations.
- Organize and schedule pick and drop services according to client locations, timings, and operational needs.
- Develop efficient routes for multiple vehicles to optimize travel time and resource use.
- Allocate appropriate vehicles and drivers based on route requirements, timing, and passenger needs.
- Prepare and maintain daily vehicle and driver rosters, ensuring all assignments are covered without gaps.
- Manage day and night operations, including shifts, late-night pickups, early-morning drops, and urgent requests.
- Coordinate directly with drivers to ensure timely arrival at designated locations.
- Handle last-minute changes such as absences, vehicle breakdowns, and replacements independently.
- Continuously monitor operational activities and take immediate corrective actions when issues arise.
- Maintain clear communication and coordination between clients, drivers, vehicles, and the operations team.
- Keep comprehensive records of vehicles, drivers, routes, trips, and daily operations.
- Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and operationally ready at all times.
- Address operational complaints promptly and resolve issues efficiently.
- Be available to manage urgent operational matters whenever required.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in transport operations, fleet management, or pick and drop services.
- Extensive knowledge of Islamabad and Rawalpindi roads, routes, sectors, and local areas is mandatory.
- Proven experience in route planning and vehicle alignment for multiple pickups and drop-offs.
- Strong understanding of fleet and driver management principles.
- Ability to independently manage a large number of vehicles, drivers, and daily trips.
- Proficient in MS Excel and operational record keeping.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage both day and night operations.
- Responsible, proactive, and capable of making independent decisions.
