We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Helper to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This position requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining safety and accuracy in all daily tasks. Responsibilities include handling a variety of warehouse duties such as receiving shipments, organizing stock, preparing orders for dispatch, and adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Receiving and Sorting: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and sort items into designated storage areas.
- Stock Organization: Maintain an orderly warehouse inventory, ensuring products are stored neatly and are easily accessible.
- Order Picking: Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch, verifying correct items and quantities.
- Packing and Labeling: Securely pack goods and label them appropriately for shipping.
- Inventory Management: Participate in regular stock counts and promptly report any discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Keep the work environment clean and organized, comply with all health and safety regulations, and report any hazards or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Required Qualifications:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 10kg) for extended periods is essential.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Basic communication skills in English, strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Ethic: Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
- Legal Status: Must be eligible to live and work in the UAE.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Job Type: Full-time position.
- Location and Mobility: Candidates should be willing to commute reliably or relocate if necessary, with relocation support provided by the employer when applicable.
