Warehouse IT Support & Systems Technician

Daataadirect is looking for a full-time Warehouse IT Support & Systems Technician to join their team on-site in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This role involves providing technical support for various warehouse equipment, including computers, machines, scanners, and connected devices. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing routine maintenance, managing backups, and ensuring proper documentation. Coordination with vendors, conducting user training, and tracking IT assets within the warehouse environment are also key aspects of the position. The role operates during the morning shift and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for warehouse machinery, computers, software applications, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks and system backups to ensure data integrity and operational continuity.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to IT systems, support activities, and asset inventories.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs, software updates, and procurement.
- Deliver training sessions to warehouse staff on the proper use of IT equipment and software tools.
- Monitor and manage IT assets, ensuring all devices are accounted for and functioning optimally.

Required Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proven ability to provide remote IT support and troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency with various operating systems, software applications, and device drivers.
- Solid understanding of LAN and Wi-Fi networking principles and configurations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working in a warehouse setting or with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train and support non-technical staff.
- The position offers a morning shift schedule and a salary range of 40,000 to 50,000 PKR.
