Tarseel (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations at its Lahore facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage, accurate inventory control, and timely dispatch of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise warehouse staff and maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and security. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with brands and principals on returns and claims, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, dispatch, and returns.
- Maintain physical ledgers and stock registers, reconciling them regularly with the ERP system.
- Ensure systematic and organized movement of products by applying Reach-truck operating principles.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization by planning layouts for easy access and efficient product flow.
- Utilize racking, shelving, and pallets effectively to ensure safe and orderly storage.
- Minimize damages, shortages, and losses through proper handling and storage techniques.
- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods, monitoring batch numbers and expiry dates.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts, investigating any discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming goods for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy against invoices and delivery challans.
- Ensure timely loading of vans every morning for market deliveries and other towns.
- Manage sales returns, damaged goods, and expiry claims in coordination with brands and principals.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including loaders, operators, and drivers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, fire safety, and pest control measures.
- Oversee security and access control to safeguard stock and premises.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and movement reports for the Branch Manager.
- Keep the warehouse audit-ready by maintaining complete records and documentation.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend improvements to enhance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of warehouse experience, ideally within a distributor or FMCG environment.
- At least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience managing palletized inventory and handling multiple brands with a high volume of SKUs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse layout, racking systems, and material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in ERP or inventory management software along with MS Excel.
- Understanding of inventory control principles, batch tracking, and expiry management.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with the Lahore market, including routes and transporters, is considered an advantage.
- The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs. 1.00 to Rs. 2.00 (currency unit to be confirmed).
- This is an in-person role based at the Lahore warehouse facility.
