The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse and distribution operations within the designated territory, including the management of finished goods, raw materials, and general inventory. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining systems that document fleet and logistics activities in alignment with the Coca-Cola Quality System. The Warehouse Manager will also provide frontline support to Planning, Operations, and Sales teams to help achieve key business objectives, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the layout and infrastructure of warehouses handling raw materials, finished goods, and general items to meet future business needs.
- Coordinate with the Procurement department to ensure efficient handling and management of raw materials and supplies according to purchase order specifications and receiving schedules.
- Prepare and propose departmental budgets to support operational requirements for the upcoming year, focusing on continuous efficiency improvements.
- Manage the forklift fleet and other assets, ensuring they are maintained in safe, operable condition while optimizing fuel consumption within approved budgets.
- Oversee suppliers and service providers, including forklift maintenance vendors and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, to maximize service levels.
- Maintain strict control over warehouse operations to provide maximum operational support with minimal overhead costs, including managing overtime effectively.
- Lead the training and development of warehouse staff to meet operational goals with an optimized headcount.
- Manage inventory efficiently for new glass and shells within the territory to support both plant production and sales operations.
- Oversee the movement, transfer, dispatch, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods to support plant and sales activities.
- Ensure all warehousing and storage facilities, including rented warehouses, are maintained in good and presentable condition.
- Supervise plant warehouse and sales center operations within the territory.
- Manage inventory of finished goods (liquid) and empty stocks at both the plant and sales centers.
- Handle the receiving and sorting of glass from the market according to RGB SOP guidelines and ensure smooth supply to the production section as per plan.
- Manage the receipt and handling of newly produced stock from production lines.
- Execute stock transfer plans for finished goods to other territories efficiently.
- Oversee warehouse shipping operations to ensure timely loading and unloading of sales vehicles, both direct and indirect.
- Develop and implement product handling SOPs aimed at minimizing product wastage.
- Ensure proper stacking and loading of products following FEFO/FIFO rules to prevent expiries.
- Provide accurate and timely warehouse reports on a daily and monthly basis to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Preferably a Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
