Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse and distribution operations within the designated territory, including the management of finished goods, raw materials, and general inventory. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining systems to document fleet and logistics activities in alignment with the Coca-Cola Quality System. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will provide frontline support to Planning, Operations, and Sales teams to help achieve key business objectives efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize the layout and infrastructure of warehouses handling raw materials, finished goods, and general items to meet future business requirements.
- Ensure efficient handling and management of raw materials and supplies from suppliers, coordinating closely with the Procurement department according to purchase order specifications and receiving schedules.
- Prepare and propose departmental budgets to support operational needs for the upcoming year while maintaining continuous efficiency improvements.
- Manage the forklift fleet and other warehouse assets, ensuring they are maintained in safe, operable condition with optimal fuel consumption within approved budgets.
- Oversee relationships with suppliers and service providers, including forklift repair vendors and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, to maximize service levels.
- Maintain strong control over warehouse operations to provide maximum support with minimal overhead costs, including managing overtime effectively.
- Lead training and development initiatives for warehouse staff to achieve operational goals with a lean workforce.
- Manage inventory efficiently, including new glass/shells, raw materials, finished goods (liquid and empty stocks), and ensure smooth support for plant production and sales operations.
- Supervise all warehousing storage facilities, including rented warehouses, ensuring they are maintained in good and presentable condition.
- Oversee plant warehouse and sales center operations within the territory, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of stock transfer plans for finished goods across territories.
- Manage warehouse shipping operations to guarantee timely loading and unloading of direct and indirect sales vehicles.
- Develop and implement product handling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to minimize product wastage.
- Ensure proper stacking and loading of products following FEFO/FIFO principles to prevent expiries in the warehouse.
- Provide accurate and timely daily and monthly warehouse reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the receiving and sorting of glass from the market according to RGB SOP guidelines and maintain a smooth supply of glass to the production section as per plan.
- Oversee the receiving and handling of newly produced stocks from production lines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards, fleet management, and supplier/vendor management.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and operational plans.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

- A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience working within the beverage or FMCG industry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Coca-Cola Quality System standards and procedures is a plus.
