This role is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the Korangi Warehouses, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant storage, handling, and movement of materials. The position requires adherence to EHS, QMS, GMP, and GHK standards while implementing warehouse strategies and inventory control practices. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence initiatives, provide leadership and administrative support to warehouse staff, and ensure business objectives and customer requirements are met in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse and dispensary operations, including receipt, storage, dispensing, issuance, and dispatch of materials/products in compliance with SOPs, GQP, GQMP, and business requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock reconciliation, variance investigation, and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure materials are stored, handled, and distributed under approved conditions to maintain product quality and integrity.
- Execute timely and accurate SAP transactions and maintain compliant warehouse documentation.
- Implement and sustain cGMP, QMS, EHS, and regulatory requirements within warehouse operations.
- Lead warehouse compliance activities such as self-inspections, Management Monitoring (L1), Independent Business Monitoring (L2), Independent Assurance (L3), Regulatory/DRAP audits (L4), CAPA management, risk assessments, and ensure timely closure of compliance actions.
- Manage, develop, and coach warehouse personnel through training, performance management, and competency development.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and operational performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage warehouse resources and budgets to optimize operational efficiency and meet business goals.
- Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence through GEMBA activities, hazard identification, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or materials management.
- Knowledge of process safety, risk management, deviations, CAPA, change control, and audit systems.
- Practical experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in Cold Chain management, Data Integrity, Digital Fluency, and GxP regulations.
- Experience with Lean Management, Logistics Management, Production Orders, and Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong understanding of Risk Awareness, Supply Chain Sustainability, Third-Party Logistics Management, and Warehouse Management.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and compliance.
