We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our company’s ongoing operations and procedures. The COO will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for driving operational excellence, improving manufacturing efficiency, and ensuring alignment with company strategies and goals.
Lead and oversee the operations of the following departments:
Administration
Human Resources (HR)
Information Technology / Management Information Systems (IT/MIS)
Marketing
Total Quality Management (TQM)
Compliance
Maintenance
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s vision and long-term objectives.
Ensure efficient manufacturing processes, timely production targets, cost control, and high-quality standards.
Improve overall operational efficiency and implement best practices across departments.
Foster cross-functional collaboration among departments to ensure seamless operations and achievement of KPIs.
Drive performance management and employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with the HR department.
Ensure legal, regulatory, and environmental compliance across operations.
Report directly to the CEO with timely updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar discipline).
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Operations Management will be considered a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a COO or similar executive role, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Solid experience in managing multi-departmental operations with cross-functional leadership.
Skills:
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems, process improvement, and quality standards.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Technologically savvy, with working knowledge of modern IT/MIS systems.
Preferred Qualities:
Experience working in a structured, process-driven, and compliance-focused organization.
Ability to lead change management and drive a performance-based culture.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO standards, or ERP systems.
