Warks Tech is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our dedicated security team. This role involves gaining hands-on experience in protecting enterprise networks and systems from cyber threats. The intern will work closely with a team of three cybersecurity professionals, assisting in monitoring security alerts, analyzing threat intelligence, and supporting the implementation of security measures to safeguard company assets. The Cybersecurity Intern will participate in identifying vulnerabilities and assisting in the development of strategies to mitigate potential risks. Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring network traffic and security alerts to detect suspicious activity.
- Support the analysis of threat intelligence data to identify potential cybersecurity threats.
- Help maintain and update cybersecurity tools and documentation including incident reports.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance cybersecurity knowledge.
- Assist in responding to security incidents by gathering relevant data and helping with mitigation efforts.
