Role of position in the organisation:
This is a senior management role specifically looking after the Programme Quality (PQ) function at the Country Programme (CP) level. The Manager Programme Quality will be responsible for leading programme planning, programme monitoring, evaluation, reporting and programme performance reflections processes to ensure high quality programming as per programme quality standards of WaterAid.
Reporting line: This is a regular CP position and will report to the Country Director.
Key working relationships:
Internal: Country Director (CD), Senior Management Team (SMT) and programme staff of WaterAid Pakistan and relevant colleagues in WA South Asia Region and UK teams.
External: Partners, consultants, auditors, sector stakeholders and other NGOs.
Purpose of Role
The purpose of the job is to lead planning, M&E and reporting related functions as per programme quality standards of WaterAid. The position will also lead in assessing new partnerships in close coordination with the programme teams and ensuring effective implementation of Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (PMER) Core Procedures. The overall objective of the role is to develop a strong culture and practice of transparency and accountability for achieving high quality programme results.
