Electrician

Web Concepts (Pvt.) Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrician with at least 3 years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment critical to the uninterrupted operation of the Internet Service Providers (ISP) network infrastructure. This role requires hands-on work with electrical wiring, power systems including generators, UPS units, and batteries, and other electrical components found in offices, data centers, and field locations. The Electrician will ensure that all electrical systems consistently support critical network functions while maintaining strict compliance with safety and operational standards. While this position does not involve managing a team, effective communication and coordination skills are essential to work alongside technical staff and external vendors. The candidate must be physically fit and flexible to work in various environments, including shift work and travel assignments. This role demands a proactive approach in diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimize downtime and maintain the reliability and efficiency of the networks electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, power systems, and associated electrical components to guarantee the stable functioning of network infrastructure.
Ensure the proper operation and upkeep of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, batteries, generators, and electrical panels to support continuous power delivery.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple sites, including offices, data centers, and field locations, to sustain system reliability.
Diagnose electrical faults accurately and troubleshoot issues promptly to reduce downtime and avoid service interruptions.
Monitor and maintain power backup systems such as generators and UPS units to ensure seamless ISP network operations.
Install and service grounding and earthing systems that protect telecom and networking equipment from electrical hazards.
Support technical teams during the installation and commissioning of network equipment, communication towers, and related electrical devices.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, electrical repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and electrical standards to protect personnel, equipment, and infrastructure.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain necessary electrical materials and equipment for maintenance and installation tasks.
Respond rapidly to emergency electrical failures and on-site technical issues to restore service with minimal downtime.
