Web Concepts (Pvt.) Ltd is looking for skilled Electricians to join their team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment essential to ISP operations. The role primarily focuses on ensuring an uninterrupted power supply for critical network infrastructure including generators, UPS systems, and field equipment, while adhering to stringent safety and operational standards. This position requires hands-on involvement with electrical wiring, power systems, and various electrical components to maintain the reliability and efficiency of the network's electrical framework.
Electricians will perform preventive and corrective maintenance at multiple sites such as offices, data centers, and field locations. The role demands the ability to diagnose electrical faults accurately and execute timely repairs to minimize service downtime. Although this position does not involve managing a team, solid communication and coordination skills are important for working alongside technical teams and vendors. The candidate must be physically fit and open to working in diverse environments, including shift work and travel as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, power systems, and related electrical components to ensure stable operation of network infrastructure.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of UPS systems, batteries, generators, and electrical panels to support continuous power supply.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment across offices, data centers, and field sites to uphold system reliability.
- Diagnose electrical faults efficiently using electrical system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime and service interruptions.
- Monitor power backup systems including generators and UPS units to guarantee seamless ISP network operations.
- Install and maintain grounding and earthing systems that protect telecom and networking equipment from electrical faults.
- Support technical teams during installation and commissioning of network devices, communication towers, and related equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, electrical repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety compliance requirements and electrical standards to safeguard personnel and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure electrical materials and equipment as needed for maintenance and installations.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and on-site technical issues to restore service with minimal disruption.
