This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who communicates proactively and can manage projects independently in a remote, asynchronous work environment.

- Design and refine responsive layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop screens, applying responsive design principles to deliver consistent experiences across devices.
- Contribute to and maintain the existing design system, ensuring consistency across components, typography, colors, spacing, and layouts by using component libraries and reusable design elements.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate design implementation, providing clear specifications, assets, and guidance for layouts and interactions.
- Address implementation questions and resolve design-related issues during development to maintain design integrity.
- Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback into design revisions, refining work efficiently while keeping project goals in focus.
- Conduct quality assurance by reviewing implemented pages against approved designs, identifying visual inconsistencies, layout issues, and usability concerns, and recommending fixes to uphold high design standards.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in web design supported by a portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgment, layout skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience working with component libraries, reusable components, and auto-layout workflows.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and how designs translate into HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with UX fundamentals, including information architecture, user flows, accessibility, and usability.
- Strong written and spoken English skills for clear communication with distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
- High attention to detail and openness to refining work based on feedback.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A proactive communicator who clarifies requirements early and keeps collaborators informed.
- Ability to respond constructively to feedback and focus on delivering the best outcomes for users and the business.
- Experience working effectively in an asynchronous environment while managing workload reliably.
- Strong collaboration skills with developers, understanding the importance of accurate design handoffs.
- Ownership mentality, managing designs from initial concept through final implementation review.
What Success Looks Like
