We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to design, build, and manage websites for a variety of businesses across different industries. These include a print shop, a private office of motor vehicles, and the company’s own brand. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in website design, development, and ongoing maintenance, delivering user-friendly, visually appealing, and highly functional websites that drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development:
Develop a new website for a print shop with a focus on professional design, intuitive navigation, and e-commerce capabilities if needed. Build a website for a private office of motor vehicles that clearly presents service information, supports customer appointment booking, and complies with relevant state regulations.
Website Management & Updates:
Maintain and update the existing Ship Happens website to ensure optimal functionality, improved design, and a seamless customer experience. Regularly monitor website performance, conduct audits, and optimize for speed, security, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Design & Branding:
Ensure all websites align with each business’s branding and marketing goals. Guarantee that websites are fully responsive and mobile-friendly across all devices.
Technical Maintenance:
Manage hosting services, domain registrations, and email integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaboration:
Work closely with management to gather requirements and translate them into effective web solutions. Provide recommendations for website improvements, new features, and digital marketing integrations such as Google Analytics, contact forms, and chat support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in web development and site management.
- Proficiency with platforms including WordPress, Shopify, and custom development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, booking systems, and contact forms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Additional Details
This is a full-time, on-site position located near Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi. The work schedule follows an evening/night shift based on US Central Standard Time (CST). The monthly salary range is Rs100,000 to Rs150,000. Candidates must confirm availability to work the specified onsite evening/night shift.
