We are looking for a skilled Web Developer & SEO Specialist to join our team full-time in a remote role. This position requires taking full ownership of developing, improving, and optimizing websites across a wide range of industries. The ideal candidate will blend strong web development expertise with SEO knowledge to build user-friendly, visually appealing, and search-engine-optimized websites. Close collaboration with our Marketing Specialist is essential to implement effective SEO strategies, enhance website performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives and user expectations. Key Responsibilities

- Develop modern, responsive, fast-loading websites either from scratch or by customizing existing themes, templates, and CMS platforms.
- Ensure websites function seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Write clean, organized, and maintainable code.
- Implement website features such as forms, third-party integrations, landing pages, blogs, and other functionalities.
- Optimize website speed, performance, usability, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, technical issues, broken pages, and errors promptly.
- Maintain and update existing websites within the portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Specialist to execute on-page and technical SEO strategies.
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, images, and overall site structure.
- Implement SEO-friendly website architecture and navigation to improve search engine crawling and indexing.
- Enhance Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and technical performance metrics.
- Create and optimize SEO landing pages based on keyword research and marketing goals.
- Assist with structured data/schema markup implementation where applicable.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in partnership with the marketing team.
- Ensure new websites are built following SEO best practices from the outset.
- Propose creative ideas for website design, functionality, and user experience improvements.
- Recommend enhancements to layouts and content presentation to increase user engagement.
- Analyze websites proactively to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help define necessary pages, features, and functionality based on industry trends and target audiences.
- Work with marketing to ensure website content is logical, engaging, and aligned with SEO objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of professional web development experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress and/or other major CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Skilled in website speed and performance optimization.
- Solid knowledge of on-page and technical SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO-friendly website architecture.
- Experience using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of keyword targeting, internal linking, metadata, headings, and structured content.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical website and SEO issues effectively.
- Good grasp of UX/UI principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with PHP/MySQL, React, Next.js, Elementor or other WordPress page builders, WooCommerce, schema markup/structured data, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO audits, Google Tag Manager, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog is highly valued. Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), landing page development, basic graphic/design skills, and AI tools for web development and content workflows is also a plus.
