We are looking for a motivated Web Development Intern to join our team in Lahore for a paid internship lasting three months. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience working with CMS-based websites and real-world web projects. The internship offers practical exposure to both frontend and backend web technologies through tasks involving website development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and Wix.
- Update website content, layouts, and basic design elements to keep sites current and user-friendly.
- Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve website issues efficiently.
- Work with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for frontend development tasks.
- Assist with database handling and perform basic backend updates.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, preferably WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and databases such as MySQL or similar.
- Strong willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This is a paid internship offering a monthly stipend between Rs20,000 and Rs30,000. Interns will gain practical, hands-on experience by working on live projects under the mentorship of experienced developers. Upon successful completion, a certificate will be awarded. There is also potential for a long-term role based on performance during the internship.
Work Details
The internship is based on-site in Lahore, specifically in Johar Town. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The contract length is three months. Candidates should be comfortable working at the specified location and during these hours.
