Web Digital is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SEO Expert to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will specialize in improving organic search visibility and driving targeted traffic to our clients' websites. This role requires expertise in keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, content planning, and local SEO strategies. The expert will collaborate closely with content creators and web developers to implement the best SEO practices that align with the latest search engine algorithms and industry trends. Working primarily during UK business hours from 9am to 5pm, the SEO Expert will ensure timely communication and execution of strategies.
This position aims to enhance website performance through comprehensive SEO audits and analytics while continuously refining and adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in the SEO domain and a strong track record of measurable successes. Although this role does not involve managing a team, collaboration across departments and with external partners is essential to achieve overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high-value search terms that increase website traffic and conversion rates.
- Implement on-page SEO techniques such as optimizing meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking structures to improve site relevance.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site architecture, crawl errors, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Develop and execute content strategies that align with SEO goals and address target audience needs.
- Utilize SEO analytics tools to monitor website performance, analyze trends, and generate reports that inform continuous improvement.
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits for clients websites to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Optimize local SEO efforts to boost visibility in geographic-specific searches and enhance local business presence.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to adjust strategies proactively.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement necessary structural changes for optimal SEO results.
- Work closely with content creators to ensure that all web content is optimized and aligned with SEO objectives.
- Communicate progress and findings effectively with internal teams and clients during UK business hours, ensuring availability from 9am to 5pm.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activities and market trends to recommend new opportunities for SEO enhancements.
