The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for leading business development efforts, identifying growth opportunities, and developing and executing strategies to increase revenue and market presence. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for growth.

Business Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's market share, revenue, and profitability.

Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads, clients, and partners through networking, cold-calling, and other lead generation methods.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and requirements.

Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new business opportunities.

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms with clients, partners, and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.

Revenue Growth: Set and achieve revenue targets, monitor sales metrics, and develop strategies to drive sales growth.

Market Expansion: Explore new markets and territories for expansion, assessing their feasibility and potential.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with the company's overall objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Also prefer Engineers from NED/ KU/ IBA/ CBA/ Lums'
  • Proven track record of success in business development, with several years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
